World Earth Day- how to recycle the screen in screen printing?

World Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. In this special day, lets discuss how to recycle the printing screen.

For small quantity, the screen can be reused by wiping off the photosensitive film, if it is not damaged and the tension is acceptable. There are many mold-release products,including mold release fluid, mold release powder, and mold release paste. Mold release fluid is recommended. When wiping off the photosensitive film, it can be used in conjunction with a softer brush and rag.

Below are procedures:

1. Wide off the residual adhesive tape during printing

2. Use 100g mold release powder within 5000-8000g water to immerse 5-10 minutes

3. Wipe off the photosensitive adhesive (do not use water)

4. Use 783 boiling oil to dissolve the remaining ink

5. Use washing powder or detergent (no water) to clean the screen

6. After the washing powder is dissolved, use high-pressure water gun to rinse from top to bottom (the net cannot be upside down, and both sides are rinsed from top to bottom)

7. After flushing, if there is stubborn ink residue, repeat steps 4-6

8. It can be used again after baking in the oven
