Screen printing in electronic products

The electronics industry is one of the more demanding industries in screen printing. Screen printing must achieve the highest reproducibility requirements, standardized production and accurate parameters. The electronics industry itself is an industry that requires precision.

The use of screen printing meshs in the electronics industry is very common. The range of applications for screen printing is limited by the finestness of the lines that can be printed. This limitation is related to the fineness of the mesh.

The finest wire diameter is about 0.030 mm. When a wire mesh of 195 to 120 mesh/cm is used, it is entirely possible to produce a continuous line of 70 to 80 μm thick. Of course, this is also related to the quality of the original, the skill level of the producer, the accuracy of the screen, the type of the frame and the tension of the screen.

In recent years, further developments have been made in the production of chemically-etched stainless steel meshes, copper covers, etc., creating a good environment for printing media, making printing highly accurate and reproducible.

Screen printers in the electronics industry are usually flat and are designed to be multi-programmed or controlled by PLC programming to suit a wide range of printing applications.

The industry that can be used in the screen printing industry is not only the electronics industry, but the applicable industry is very extensive.
