Currently, there are 3 different kinds of screen printing mesh in the market: nylon screen printing mesh, polyester screen printing mesh and stainless steel screen printing mesh.
According to MAISHI MFG's experience, each of them has its own advantage and disadvantage, here is our experience for reference:
1) Nylon screen printing mesh:
Advantage: ① High elasticity; ② High abrasive resistance; ③ Smooth surface, easily for ink transfer; ④ Not easy to generate static electricity;
Disadvantage: ① Weak UV-Resistance; ② Easily to be affected by the humiture, hole shape is easily to be changed. ③ High elongation, printing accuracy is lower
2) Polyester screen printing mesh:
Advantage: ① Stable construction, fine tension stability after stretching. ② Low elongation, higher printing accuracy; ③ Longer use life, excellent chemical resistance.
Disadvantage: No obvious disadvantage, the most balance and popular printing mesh.
3) Stainless steel screen printing mesh
Advantage: ① High tension and low elongation, excellent tension stability after stretching. ② Wire is thinner when comparing with its hole size, uniform hole. ③ chemical resistance, mechanical shock resistance and humiture resistance are all excellent.
Disadvantage: ① Easily to got crease line after impacting. ② Cost is higher; ③ Need to pay more attention in stocking.
