Problems that should be paid attention to in screen printing mesh

(1) Inhomogeneous printing ink

In screen printing mesh, the printing ink is light and uneven. The elimination method includes: replacing the printing ink matched with the substrate and having good adhesive performance; adding an auxiliary agent to slow the drying of the ink, reducing the drying speed of the printing ink; and increasing the pressure of the scraper.

(2) Ink use

The mesh surface is flat, but it is a bit dripping. The elimination method includes: adding original ink, increasing ink concentration; increasing printing speed; eliminating low printing pressure; reducing the amount of ink supplied to the printing plate, and appropriately increasing the angle between the squeegee and the printing plate.

(3) The printed matter does not stick for a long time.

Elimination methods include the use of fast drying diluents to increase the dryness of the ink.

(4) The mesh hole is blocked

The ink blocks the grid of the screen. The elimination method includes: adding a slow-drying diluent to reduce the drying speed of the ink; and appropriately reducing the viscosity of the ink by using a specific solvent.

(5) Plate degumming and ink leakage

A large area of ​​ink is present in the blank portion of the print. The elimination method includes: selecting a photosensitive adhesive sheet that is resistant to ink dissolution; and applying with a soft rubber blade. When the degumming is very severe, the plate processing needs to be repeated.

1. What is the cause of small holes in printing?

The main reason is that the plate is too thin. The reason why the plate is too thin may be that the water mixing ratio is too high; other reasons may be that the screen is not clean enough before the glue is applied, the glue layer is not adhered to the screen; or the bubble is generated in the dry glue layer; the final curing is insufficient, such as curing The solution is too thin/failed, or cures too quickly when the cure is not sufficiently dry.

2. Screen printing should pay attention to the problem:

Screen printing can only print one color at a time. Complex and cumbersome color printing coloring requires relatively high color registration technology. There are relatively few technicians in the field and fewer colors. If you need to print four or five colors at a time, it will inevitably lead to inaccurate color registration. This increases the scrap rate of the product and increases the cost accordingly.

It is well known that if screen printing wants to print a pattern, it must undergo plate making and lamination. If the quantity is small, the cost is quite high. Therefore, the general screen printing company does not work small, mainly because the cost is too high!

Screen printing can only be used for relatively flat products. At the same time, many customers want to maintain their original state, especially textiles, while printing, so such products are difficult to use screen printing.
