What are the aspects to be aware of when using a wire mesh?

Screen printing mesh is based on the original, selecting the plate making method and printing process, and determining the printing materials to be used. Since the use of screen printing is very extensive, there are many types of corresponding processes. It is an important task to choose which process. There are also a variety of materials used in each process, and which material is selected depends on the nature of the pattern, the amount of replication, and the use of the product. For example, in the case of a wire mesh, nylon, polyester, stainless steel, etc. are often used, and the process performance is different. Such as nylon mesh has the ideal elasticity and recovery, as well as the ability to print on the uneven surface. Stainless steel wire mesh is often used in printing requiring high precision. In addition, depending on the pattern, a diagonal stretching network can also be adopted to maintain the latitude and longitude direction of the net at a certain angle with the direction of the squeegee, and the net can be tightened and relaxed within the range allowed by the tension.

The method of plate making generally has two methods of engraving and photosensitive plate making. The former is suitable for patterns that are not very accurate and can be drawn; for prints that require high precision and emphasize the tone level, photolithography must be used. In the photosensitive plate making method, a direct method can be used to manufacture a printing plate having strong printing durability. This method is inferior to the photosensitive film of the screen plate when the printing plate is pressed, so the image quality is poor and quality is required. For higher images, it is best to use indirect plate making.

For prints with low print counts and low quality requirements, manual printing is most convenient. If the amount is large and a certain quality is required, a high-precision fully automatic printing machine is required. Since the materials, quality and shape of screen printing vary widely, there are many types of printing machines. Ink for screen printing, depending on the texture of the printed material, the adhesion properties of the ink are different, so it is necessary to select the appropriate ink. In addition, due to the different uses of the product, if necessary, conductive, corrosion-resistant and so on. So the ink used is different. Because the drying methods of various inks are different, it is necessary to pay attention to the selection of the corresponding drying method.

The main features of silk screen printing are:

1. Can be printed on any object/material/thickness, including cylinders.

2. The variety of inks can be printed with a variety of special effects, and the stereoscopic effect is strong.

3. Printing methods change infinitely. The prints have high weather resistance and strong fastness.

4. The operation procedure is simple, the tool/mechanical is simple, the investment is relatively small, and the return rate is high.

5. The order quantity is not high, and it can be operated from several pieces to tens of thousands.

6, the ink layer is thicker and the color is thick.

7, generally less continuous printing, mostly in the field of color blocks.
