Polyester is a kind of elastic material. Silk screen printing mesh is woven by polyester wire, So if the tension is too large, the screen printing mesh are easy to lose elasticity and fracture. But if the tension is too small, the mesh will be not tight.
The tension weaken quickly after 20 minutes’ stretching, so we need to finish fixing the mesh when stretch is done.
Normally, most mesh tension is not stable after short timestretching. It will decline sharply within 24 hours and continue to decline within follwing 2-3 days.
If the screen printing mesh is used to print high precision image and time is enough, we had better print in 24 hours.
