How to apply stainless steel wire mesh in the printing industry

Stainless steel wire mesh has been used in the printing industry for a long time. Today, MAISHI has compiled a list of the advantages of stainless steel mesh mainly used in the printing industry for your reference.

The most commonly used in printing is plain mesh stainless steel wire mesh of 150 mesh, 180 mesh, 250 mesh, 400 mesh.

Controlling the flow of ink through a stainless steel wire mesh is actually a special separation method to create a screen plate. If you need to print a long horizontal line on the job and be parallel to the blade, then you need to see how the squeegee hits and suddenly stalls in those areas as the ink flow and the squeegee reach the edge of the emulsion layer. .

Stainless steel wire mesh has many advantages for conventional fleece mesh in terms of flow control when using ink. A stainless steel mesh of the same size facilitates better control of ink precipitation. Moreover, the dot gain in the printing process will be effectively avoided, because even in areas with high dot coverage, the dot printing rate of such dots is much lower than other dots. Another advantage of stainless steel dots in screen printing is that all the dots are arranged next to each other instead of being stacked on top of each other as in conventional stainless steel mesh. The reduction in stacking dots means that the lack of ink caused by the pressure at the top of the dots will be alleviated during the printing process. The ink passes through a stainless steel wire mesh and falls onto the opening of the screen printing plate formed by the emulsion and finally reaches the outer surface of the substrate.
